The Roof Repair Winnipeg team is a small, local crew who handle every job from the first phone call to the final nail, no sales team, no call centre, no account managers. The person who answers your phone is the person who inspects your roof, writes your quote, and does the repair, and that's exactly how we want it.
Who does the work
Our crew is deliberately small. We have a lead roofer who has worked the local freeze-thaw cycle for over a decade, a leak specialist who tracks water back to its source instead of patching the ceiling, and two technicians who handle flashing, vent boots, and asphalt shingle repairs. Every crew member is a local hire who has worked through the May-to-September hail season, our winter ice dams, and the spring melt that exposes every weak spot on a roof.
We don't use subcontractors. We don't rotate strangers through your property. The same hands that quote your repair are the ones who show up and do it.
What we actually do on your roof
Most of our work is roof leak repair, and that's where we built our reputation. We find the actual source of the leak, cracked flashing, a lifted asphalt shingle, a failed vent boot, an ice dam that pushed water under the shingles, and we fix it properly.
We also handle:
- Emergency roof repair for active leaks
- Hail and storm damage repair, with adjuster-ready documentation for your insurance claim
- Shingle repair and replacement on asphalt roofs
- Ice dam and winter leak response
- Flashing and vent boot repair
- Roof inspection and assessment
- Full roof replacement when a repair no longer makes sense
Every inspection includes a written damage report you can hand to your insurance adjuster. If you're filing a hail or storm claim, that report is the difference between a smooth payout and a fight.
How we price and work
We quote the fix, not a replacement you don't need. If your roof has another 10 years left, we'll tell you. If it's done, we'll tell you that too, but only after we've shown you why.
Typical pricing for our most common jobs: roof leak repair runs $200–$1,200, emergency roof repair $150–$1,500, hail and storm damage repair $400–$5,000+, and shingle repair $200–$1,500. These are starting ranges, the final cost varies a lot depending on job size, scope, and site conditions. We'll give you a firm, written quote before any work starts.
Hail season keeps us busy from May through September, and we respond to storm damage within 24–48 hours. When a storm rolls through the city, we're out there the next day, tarping exposed areas and documenting the damage before water makes it worse.
Why Winnipeg homeowners choose us
We run lean, no showroom, no twelve-truck fleet, no overhead that gets passed to you. That's why our prices are fair and our quotes are honest. Our customers consistently tell us they appreciated being told when a repair was smarter than a new roof, and when it wasn't.
We're also local hands. We've worked every season this city has, from -35°C winter emergency calls to July hailstorms. We know how freeze-thaw cycles lift shingles, how ice dams form at the eaves, and how to flash a valley so it survives a Winnipeg spring.
